Q&A
“Will I fit in?”
Yes, everyone one in the class felt the same way you do about attending their first class and no, you don’t have to be in shape to join us. We all understand that there is some anxiety with trying something new… especially when with people we don’t know. Our current members will welcome you to class and cheer each other on throughout the class. Downtown Boot Camp keeps classes small, personalized and goal oriented; we want everyone to feel comfortable and confident while exercising. Instructors keep a watchful eye during your first couple of weeks to ensure you don’t over exerting yourself and are using the proper form while exercising.
“Is this going to be convenient for my lifestyle?”
Downtown Boot Camp caters to people that live and work in downtown Indianapolis. We offer twelve classes a week at morning, noon, and night to accommodate the busiest of schedules. Many members travel for a living and enjoy the unlimited attendance so to maximize their time when in town. Members not living downtown enjoy working out after work and successfully avoiding the rush hour traffic and having an easy and relaxed drive home afterward.
“Has someone real joined this Boot Camp before me?”
Our Boot Camp attracts the people for weight loss, muscle toning and training for their favorite sport; we are all real people looking to improve aspects of our lives. Supermodels are not real people and they don’t train here.
“Is there a risk to join here?”
Downtown Boot Camp strives to remove any risk for you. We offer unlimited attendance for one month with no obligation so you can get a true feel for our curricula and energized classes. This is the best way for you to see for yourself that your fitness goals can be reached with our Boot Camp. We firmly believe that together you can achieve your goals with Downtown Boot Camp.
“Will there be service after joining?”
Smaller classes allow us more personalized attention to be given to our members. We closely watch each member during class to ensure safety, correct form and ensure each person reaches their personal best with each work out. We are also available for advice on dietary, health concerns and making a personalized traveling curriculum while away for town.
“What should I wear?”
It is best to wear clothing that is comfortable and not restrictive. While there is no shortage of choices at the athletic stores, shorts and T shirt work fine. When exercising in cooler temperatures wear sweat shirt and/or sweat pants over your normal attire so you may remove clothing once you have warmed up. Shoes should be running, trail or tennis type, not laced too up tightly, and changed every 12 months to prevent joint and back fatigue.
"Is there child care?"
No. We are not set up for taking care of any children.
